Justin Twist, who serves with the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge and the non-profit Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK) in Denver, CO, has been building capacity for a youth employment program called “Urban Rangers.”

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and DOI/VISTA, Sarah Deleon, were recognized by Visalia Unified School District for their exemplary commitment to developing the first model career pathway in the community and Parks’ 125 year history.
DOI/VISTAs Lindsay Lunsford, Kevin Blanchette and Pamela Segura commemorated the 50th anniversary of the civil rights march from Selma to Montgomery by taking part in the National Park Services’ (NPS) five day walking classroom.
